Ben, since i don't look at players, only their stat sheets <g>, is there credible evidence and/or rumors to think the Boone did that? i was wondering myself this year about Trot Nixon (Boston RF) who showed up in camp looking MUCH bigger and stronger, much more than one would expect from just a hard winter of working out. his contract is up either this year or next. of course, Nixon is usually a slow starter (810 April OPS the last three years) and this year he's miraculously tearing it up the first month (1032 OPS so far, and he is just KILLING right-handed pitching).
