Thank you for your opinion......and I'm sorry to butt in, but do you think the protesters in Oakland that tried to prevent the goods meant for our troops from being loaded on transports are traitors?

TIA

M

Actually, I'm on record as being very supportive of many anti-war posters ("Don't Start the War" thread)...before the war began. I even agreed with some of their better arguments and was NOT enthusiastic about going to war. In the end it boiled down to credibility, the strength of the arguments, concern for world peace and US security...so I supported President Bush and Prime Minister Blair.

In retrospect and with the benefit of what has happened and what has been learned about Hussein, it was the obvious and right decision.

I don't think mere opposition to the war is treasonous; there are guidelines and laws as to what defines treason. What we're really talking about here is intellectual honesty...and that's the root of the problem with the Irrational Left (as I call them).

Insults and epithets, within some context of reason, is part of the price we gladly pay for free speech. Have a great Easter, WUWT!--MK--
