"Traitors" is too strong a word IMO. Was that a reasonable way to protest? No, because it could potentially harm people.

Picketing a university is acceptable, much as pickets that prevent me from going where I want irritate me just as they probably irritate you (but then, that's what the protest is about and for, and isn't materially different than the Boston Tea Party), but picketing a hospital and preventing people from receiving needed care is not acceptable.
