Um, Maurice, these soldiers are still in a war zone, being shot at with regularity, if you haven't noticed. Soldiers in a war zone will tend to point their guns at anyone who runs up to them yelling and screaming, if you haven't noticed. It is a mark of US military professionalism that nobody has shot her, accidentally-on-purpose.

She didn't have a gun, but she may have had an exploding baby in her womb, just like the other ladies at that Iraki dam, some ten days ago.

The three marines that rushed to help sure can't remember.

And if these marines weren't scared from kamikaze action, as is probably the case, are they supposed to take the whole night $hit shift from an hysterical BBC embedded activist ?

After all they can't slap her, can they ?

Now may be she did spend the last twenty years yelling at the murderous Iraki regime, protected by the NY police, in front of the UN.

I which case, she may have a case.

Otherwise, I'd knock her out.

Soldiers are notoriously tough when confronting unarmed civilians, women etc.

If she'd done this to Saddam's military, she'd have had her throat slit !

Seems our military treated her just fine.
