Ed Huang, I've never suggested that I am an expert so I will leave it others. From what I know there are the typical passages of "do unto others", "be honest", 10 commandment commentary, etc. When one studies religions, it always amazes me that the extremists are very similar in thought and action. The words of Emile, whose profile and words, make him a religious zealot will be similar to extreme Orthodoxy whether Jewish, Catholic or Muslim. Just change the nouns. Emile says the New Testament is 100% wonderful and anyone who comments on it is 100% wonderful because it is all through the light of Jesus. Tell me that's not zealotry. Tell me that if Jesus walked the earth today he would approve of religious thought that led to the Crusades and to the Holocaust or to Emile and company.
