Bushies simply can't blame it on Clinton anymore. It's been 2.4 years now since he was in power, and even longer since he was actively governing (nothing much gets done at the end of a lame duck term). BTW, Clinton inherited Iraq from Bush Sr. and he contained North Korea for 8 years. During Clinton's years neither country threatened the US. Iraq was watched and inspected quite thoroughly. Yes they were a sneaky vile regime but no direct threat to the USA. Also it appears UN inspectors DID do a good job on the WMD's in the 90's, though we'll reserve judgement on whether they did a complete job. Clinton's bedroom antics are another irrelevant diversion the Bushies love to repeat ad nauseum to change the subject. Too much time has been spent obsessing about where he penis may or may not have gone. Talk about overkill on that subject. What matters now is solving the problems that exist and have grown worse over the past few years due to gross neglect of domestic concerns. The price we have paid to take over Iraq is mind-boggling when you add up the lost wealth and jobs in our economy, and broken alliances in the global economy over the past 10 months since Bush started obsessing on Iraq. And now that we have taken over Iraq, you will see, we have the same problems we had before, only some of them have grown worse. Too little, too late if Bush finally starts focusing on economic and domestic issues later this year and into 2004. Besides, Bush shows no signs of changing his economic policies, and they are pretty much useless in terms of jump-starting anything.
