I would have done the same thing as this man. I don't think we're experienced enough to judge here. If he'd gone back in and someone had to go in and rescue him, if he had caused a problem by breaking the window and providing a new air source for the fire, unless you're a firefighter I don't think you know enough to judge their position. I have three cats and a dog and it'd tear me apart to be in that man's shoes, but ultimately people's lives are more important. Regards WUWT
