llmarinen, "a stable USA> is exactly what is not the case at this moment, traditional checks and balances lost, domestic fear and economic problems easy to abuse and manipulate." That's a pretty vague definition. There have been lots of occasions in our history when there has been domestic fear and economic problems and we have pulled out of it just fine. I certainly do not agree that traditional checks and balances have been lost. Perhaps you could give us some examples of this and how we've become vulnerable to easy manipulation.
