"why don't you argue with the man by using some facts"

Because he made an idiotic statement with nothing to back it up. Saying all U.S. media is the "administration's lapdog" is not an argument. It is an unsubstantiated attack. Since it is a FACT that 90% of the media are democrats, I'm not sure why they would all bend over backwards to support GWB.

"You think you've been getting accurate war coverage from Fox and MSNBC??"

I would say that FOX is a bit pro-US (this does not offend me, as we do live in America), but that they were the most accurate. I saw McInnerny (sp?), who was one of two Generals on CNN (Wes Clark being the other), that were basically said we were losing and had a bad strategy only to be completely humbled and ACKNOWLEDGING he was DEAD WRONG. Fox on the other hand got it right. Again, I know this offends you, but the truth hurts sometimes. Especially to those (like you) who seem to have wanted America (and the Iraqi people) to lose.

"Ever see any civilian casualties?"

A few. Note that there were not too many. A little over a thousand PER THE IRAQI INFORMATION MINISTRY. Saddam has killed hundreds of thousands, but that does not bother people with an agenda like you. They also didn't show any American or Iraqi military deaths either. Estimates as high as 100,000 of those.

"If you want the real story you're going to have to read the press from all over the world"

News that must go through the government as virtually ALL middle-eastern news is not news. It does not need to be read other than to understand that these kingdoms, dictatorships and religious rulers LIE LIKE HELL. Frances views are insignificant to me, although I know what they claim they are fairly well.

It basically boils down to the fact that if you think we are where we are because we lie, cheat and steal, and that freedom of press is just a bad joke or a clever scheme to be manipulated (as Delbert the idiot has stated) then you are not going to be convinced that we are a worthy nation. People like you and Delbert who think we cannot be trusted and that EVERYTHING is controlled by Republicans (a flattering concept, I must admit) cannot be convinced that America is a great country, and will have to go on with your miserable suffering and loathing of our country and people like me who love and support it. It's kind of funny in a way.
