Re: United States is imperialistic and is out to rule the world.

1848 -- We stole Arizona, New Mexico, California and Nevada and part of Utah from Mexico.

Late 1800's -- We stole Hawaii from its sovereign native population.

1898 -- We stole the Philipines from Spain. As well as Puerto Rico.

1903 -- We stole Panama, and especially the Canal Zone from the Columbians.

1953 -- We destroyed democracy in Guatamala and replaced it with a brutal dictatorship for the sake of United Fruit.

1953 -- We destroyed a democracy in Iran and replace it with a royal despot.

1961 -- We attempted an invasion of Cuba, to replace a popular government with a return to a thuggish dicatatorship catering to the organized crime interests of the U.S.

1960's -- We unilaterally attacked Viet Nam under false pretenses, murdering 2-3 million Vietnamese citizens before losing the war.

You want more examples? There's a lot of them. The U.S. has imperialistically intervened about 200 times in 70 separate countries since the end of the Second World War.
