My ex Mobil exec friend said it was possible to replace every oil-burning furnace with hydrogen once we get over a few technological hurdles. And that goes for coal-burning plants, automobiles and everything else too eventually. It's no drea, no fantasy, no liberal cause. It's just the right thing to do. If we can spend 100 billion or more "liberating" a third world country we can afford the same amount to get hydrogen going. Which is the better investment in our future? With hydrogen, we dont need anymore Arab oil.
