That is true, but that is dangerous because that type is most vulnerable to authority and their agenda.... We have had it too easy.. That breeds trust and complacency.. But also we evolve to a lazy mind and body.. And most importantly, a lack of responsibility ( although right wingers would disagree ,<g> they are the worst offenders IMO).. Because we (individually) do not want to take responsibility for anything, we go to a doctor if we have a little belly ache, need to pass a little gas, call a lawyer if our neighbors apple tree drops a apple on our side, brokers "breaking" us on their investment advice.<g> But we have to rely on someone else to tell us when to take a... and on and on.. Why?, We are TRUSTING of everybody BUT ourselves.. Why? , because perhaps, a very small perhaps maybe, something might go wrong.. But we can't take a chance.. Because by Jeesus we can't blame OURSELVES.. We are Perfect, you know.. We are Americans. We have been told that since our birth..Told only... But not thought out by ourselves.. That is the easy way.. We like lazy minds and bodies, you know.. <g>.. (Maybe that is why we are not good long distance runners.. That takes hours of sisu, fortitude.. Not 5 seconds off the line of scrimmage.. <g> ) So this attitude permeates to the top.. We "trust" our leadership, even though they might even go against our basic values, because we can't: Take a chance.. We are fearful of our own common sense.. And that can be dangerous to our own good <g>... Saddam MIGHT be a threat.. So we have to take him out> NO matter what the consequences to our morals might be in the way of "collateral damage". So we want to cover it up, hide those pics of dismembered children so it doesn't offend: our "perfect?" but lazy mind and body.... c
