blaming the others is one of the many human natures, how about meddling other people's business?

Yes, we are high handed. But again, it is a damned if you do and damned if you don't. If we didn't comdemn certain behavior, then we would be damned for supporting dictatorships. For every case where you point out that we were high handed I'll point out another where we 'ignored' the plight of group X. And vice versa. That said I'll say that we should be less 'dismissive' of certain forums etc - not that I agree with Kyoto but we could have been a lot more empathetic.

We put the total blame to the other side, we said oh we did nothing wrong, we couldn't understand why they hated us so much, it must be their problem.

Well, I agree that there is some truth to that. But it is remarkably hard to come up with concrete things we could do other than give free reign to Yasser Arrafat (who is decidedly anti-peace) that would make the Arab world like us better.

It's time to ask loud. Why.

Ok, why? Specific examples of policy errors (vs stupidity like not having people in place to prevent looting in Iraq).
