Ironic, today's news headline.

An absurd analogy to Iraq. The Queen isn't handing out playing cards, with the faces of Kiwis she wants hunted down, dead or alive.

<If the USA pulled out now, it would be instant civil war in Iraq. Total catastrophe and somebody like Saddam would be back in charge.>

And if the U.S. doesn't pull out, we will face a nationalist revolt, and someone like Saddam or Knomeini is going to be in charge. No good choices, at this point. The Means we are using, will never get us to the declared Ends of democracy and freedom and peace. Those Means don't lead to those Ends.
