Not to defend him but I know he only tracks the DOW and nothing else to any great extent. He also strictly looks at daily charts. We actually do have a Dec 2 dt line breakout there but it is not a major one. As for showing charts, he never does which is a shame, although I am not sure that showing a chart of stuff NOT breaking out would be very constructive. As an aside and FWIW, I have read him for a couple of years and while he doesn't use a lot of charts and is given to long-winded prose, he has called major market bottoms and tops better than anyone else I have ever read.
