Except the two who died, you mean? :-)

the detainees were being held not necessarily for what they had done but for what they might do.

That is scary. What is really strange is that there is no outcry from Americans about just how unjust this is, and what this might mean re things their administration is capable of.

Sadly, as I said before, they will be detained until there is a regime change in the US.

Guantanamo is a political symbol of the administration's "war on terror" campaign. And a convenient way to sidestep our own constitution. THey won't let it go willingly.
