An early strike against Hitler could have saved 40 million lives. You would have been against that, too, I suppose--MK--

There isn't? Britain's march into India was aggression all the way. India is now a democracy. The same can be said of South Africa. Or Canada. Or Mexico, which the Spaniards invaded. Or the US Indian wars.

The Magna Carta was NOT intended to bring democracy and rights to the common man. It was a deal made at swordpoint by and for nobility. Had that nobility had any idea how their meaning would be twisted by history, they would have gladly submitted to a tyrannical king.

Reality refuses to conform to your silly ideas. It's much more complex. Even if you can't figure out where things are going, you ought to at least realize how incorrect you have been. I've got more of the "Best of TP" if you need reminding.

Enough pearls before swine today.
