Who do you think the PNAC people have on tap for Powell's replacement? The Prince of Darkness himself? Powell's supposed to be a good infighter, but Rumsfeld and Cheney took Kissinger out of the loop in the Ford administration, I sure wouldn't bet against them myself.

Well, at least he got the story right, which is more than you can say for the Times. I have listened to and read Al Hunt for a long time. Typical Al. Repeats every calumny against Newt. I don't think he can start writing until he gets the Dem Party line emailed to him. That's OK, let him spew his venom at Gingrich. Less column space available for taking on Bush.
