Buddy, you stole a lot of my thunder! I agree with a whole host of your cuts and would like to point out something else. Whatever you may think of President Reagan (and let's table that for now) I do remember quite clearly how many times he kept asking Congress to enact the findings of the "Grace Commission." Do you remember that as well? As I remember, it was a superbly detailed study of the Federal Government that figured out how to save something like 15-20% of the total budget WITHOUT CUTTING ANYTHING except inefficiencies and duplication. Supposedly, it was never enacted because of the natural tendency of all bureaucracies to expand and infighting among the Democrats who controlled both houses at the time. I'd appreciate your comments if you remember. Again, you're dead on with most of your suggestions for cuts, imo--MK--
