...forget it -- apparently you never took a ECON class. How can you even begin to post the Fitzgerald piece -- uttering what you just did? You probably don't even understand what Fitzy was talking about -- never mind anyone else who agrees or disagrees with what Fitzy says. At least Mr. Fitzgerald knows how the system works -- even though he is intentionally misleading (and has successfully plays/played on people's perceptions/misunderstandings of government treasury rules & policy/procedures.) I'm certainly no snob about these things -- but please go grab a rudimentary-level book on the US Treasury and get back to me. Bush loves people like you -- you make his job so darn easy. -JH
