"Which is much a stereotype against fundamentalist Christians as your apparent perception of their attitude toward gays is" I have never known a fundamentalist Christian to show any moderation toward gays...................and I know many people from that religious sector. In fact I have known them to be quite bigoted. I have participated in fundamentalist churches and have been shocked and disgusted at the bigotry that I have witnessed. Perhaps not all fundamentalists are bigoted but I haven't met one yet that isn't. Doesn't mean that out there somewhere on this planet there are Fundamentalists Christians that are accepting of gays..............I just haven't run into him or her yet. DO you know of one that accepts gays? Let me know...............and I don't mean a church that welcomes them in and prays for them to be healed into bisexual behavior. I am glad to be moderate but I won't sacrifice the truth for the sake of a word. If the kettle is black , it's black not white or grey.
