When did I say you should do such a thing? Cary said the issue is not Palestinians and it is the other Arab nations who are comitted to destruction of Israel. I said if that is the case, Israel should have helped a real pro-Pal group come to power and make results. This would have debased the PLO power and all those other arab countries. I have often heard that it was the other arab nations who pushed PLO into the leadership role. But nobody explained to me why Israel had to walk into this trap. There is no reason why Israel could not have helped a better alternative come to power. Of course now it is too late for that, but Israel is now pushing for this type of solution...much too late IMO.
