Ray,

I am very aware of Ted Turner's status at Time-Warner under Jerry Levin. My point was meant to be more subtle, that Turner contributed to the media concentration that he is now criticizing when he sold his company to Time-Warner. Turner made his own bed at Time-Warner. He ended up as Time-Warner's largest shareholder and could have better defined his role upfront. Instead he chose to play Land Baron with his Queen. Had he been more proactive, he would have been in a position to "stop the madness", as you call it.

BTW, one man's catastrophe is another man's good fortune. Imagine where the shareholders of AOL would be if they didn't merge with Time-Warner.

Blaming Turner proves you simply don't know the history.

Always nice to be treated in a condescending manner. Let me know if you want to borrow my Auletta
