Only Northern Hemisphere. West coast of South America has Humbolt current, nasty desert in north of Chile.

East coasts and extreme climates. Only north Hemisphere. Brazil has 7.500Km of coast and nothing happens there!!! Look to west coast of Africa and you'll note the Namibia desert. Like the Atacama desert energyplay mentioned.

The main danger of a breakdown in the deep water formation and the NA drift/conveyor connection is that rather than making things cold in Europe it stops pumping heat and carbon dioxide into the ocean bottom and it stays in the atmosphere....
