You can believe whatever you want but I rely on the data and statistics. I don't have a preconceived idea of what to find. I in fact started research in this area because I was skeptical. The evdience from the statistics is that the early temperatures are pretty accurate. There global coverage maybe isn't so great but again it doesn't seem to matter that much. Millions of years isn't the right perspective for managing human society and economy. If we take the geologists viewpoint there is no point in studying humans at all.... just a tiny blip in the history of the earth.
