Rock, For the record, I'd rather the information in the link was in a different format, with a less slanted perspective. The historic information contained in the piece agrees with my recollection of current events at the time, and is more comprehensive than any other source I've run across, which is why I continue to use it as a reference. US foreign policy in the Middle East has never been what a reasonable person would consider honorable. For all practical purposes it's comparable to General Custer's view of the American Indian, with the added twist of the proceeds going to special interests. If we spent as much money on new energy technology as we do on taking energy by force of arms, oil would be on the verge of being obsolete by now.
