Perhaps they are better off unless a worse dictator comes to power. I was watching a show about what has happened since the Berlin Wall came down....Well, plenty of people in Berlin East are not so happy... and plenty of people Berlin West are unhappy about having to pay a 5% solidarity tax. It didn't turn out to be pie in the sky after all, and that's in the best of circumstances...of which Iraq has to be among the worst of the worst case scenarios. IMO
