Iraqi people are much better off than before,
You can't know that. The people of Iraq are still in the dark suffering from cholera and disentary. There are no jobs, no money, and near daily killings. There is no reason to think that any promises doled out in Iraq are worth any more than the same goals that were promised in Afganistan.

Sure, while every day their will be 10 thousand more Iraqi's thinking how can they ruin our day and get these occupational forces the hell out of their country.
Romania and all the Soviet "states" broke FREE by themselves.
The Soviet people themselves overthrew the Moscow government by themselves.
Iraq,a pre-emptive war by an another people and a messianic Prez; forget it, it will end a bloody quagmire---give it time.
