As a neocon by necessity, i still would like to see a world in which the US was not the only world cop.

Agreed. But the latest venture by the Germans, French, Belgians and Luxes was done outside of the NATO context, which is troubling to me.

Bottom line outside of England they do not want to spend the money on military as they need it to support the social welfare plans in EU
