Based on that account, the conflict must have been quite extensive and quite violent. Why any responsible Iraqi would be willing to march in a demonstration where there are gun toting activists turning the entire crowd into a target for Coalition forces is beyond me. Based on the accounts, I'm happy with how our forces handled it.

Again, the solution is to set the rules and enforce them. There is no reason weapons should be permitted in a public demonstration. They endanger the public safety and create temptation for those who's emotions have overwhelmed them.

Necessary, but not a solution. There is no solution against an enemy who will use against us the fact that we care more about the lives of his women and children then he does. No solution, but victory. We must find the backers and choke them of. That means Iran and Syria.
