"You may be taking issue with the assistance system... Only in the sense that it is an enabler. The topic is gender roles. The gender role of male being unnecessary as an involved father or in maintaining a heathy home life as a family member and a powerful entity with specific positive regard for the endowment of testosterone is emasculating. Viewing males in only the utilitarian view as partner, nurturer or whatever, or in the negative as a testosterone enriched vehicle of destruction, denies the posibility that they can be something exceptionally good and a positive possibility waiting to manifest.
