Your post illustrates the difficulty. You have no solution. It's clear what was the case before could not continue. I believe that better information and more effective data bases will minimize excesses. All things considered, Israel has done a decent job of protecting its citizens. It's not a good solution and they need to recognize that peace is the answer. You have to adapt to your neighborhood and the circumstance. Things are different after 9/11. If things do no improve, I suspect that we will not be attracting as many non-citizens. I'm not saying that is good or bad. It's just that the market will tend to create some political action. It's easy to be critical, harder to offer a solution.
