Hey, I can giggle if you can find your own posts comical.

By definition, there is no real international law as there is no international sovereign enforcement executive. That means you make it up as you go along, admittedly, for the common interest by treaty.

I'm not disagreeing with your precedent argument. However, even in our nation, precedent can be changed and re-interpreted. International precedent should be even less set in stone. There are those who will argue that a promise in a terrorist enterprise or a fraudulent one takes all promises off the table.

What do you think about France and Russia "forgiving" the debt since the likelihood of collection is low?
