Re the Docs and Medicare/Medicade.

I like your idea on access to the Federal programs. If nothing else, the disclosure of the real cost of these programs would take peoples breath away.

I have been saying that we are getting Socialized Medicine by the "Salami" approach. Each year Congress passes a little more of it. I think this trend will continue, rather that the universal approach being urged by a couple of the Dem candidates.

How health care is going to play as an issue will be a major subject here. That and Education are what show up on Polls along with War and Economy. War/Economy get about 90% with the other two at 4%.

I have the Kaiser HMO here in Hawaii, and am very happy with it. Costs me $50 a month for my "part B" and $82 a month to Kaiser for coverage. $10 a visit. Free Lab and reduced Prescriptions. The service and care for the last year has been outstanding. I hear from other people that where you have to fight them is on optional stuff, where opinions are fixed.
