Retire - Seems to make sense to me but I guess I'm still a little confused. First by this anaylysis. In my hospital, inventory continues to carry over - so the month inventory MDCO have in the wholesaler has been there for a long time and has been carried from month to month and quarter to quarter. So if they had $4m inventory at close of 2002 then it carried $4m from 4Q2002 into 2003. And if they had sales of $13m (as you guess) to hospital in 1Q2003 then the wholeslaer would have had to order $13m and kept the $4.0m in inventory. So where does the $16.7 sales in 1Q come from? See what I'm saying - they already had the 1 month inventory so how do you credit them with selling it again? After a while shouldn't hospital demand be equal to wholesaler demand? I'm probably just being a little slow.

I'm also confused by other message from fairenough saying sales reps have never made their sales quota. Where does that come from if MDCO made 2001, 2002 numbers and are on target for 2003?
