If you look at the sorry job the UN did in handling the oil for food program in Iraq - where most of the money went to Saddam and his thugs - and possibly to Kofi Anan and his thugs - you would not want them involved any longer.

Rick, They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Here's some images from Fallujah, scene of recent demonstrations and deaths west of Baghdad. Scroll down to the protest signs: "Sooner or later U.S. killers, we'll kick you out!"
