You seem to be saying Israel can put off a Palestinian state indefinitely just by saying it still does not trust them. And continue building settlements into the land which of course later on it will try not to give back. How convenient...

I thought that Taba ended (Jan 28th)) because of the upcoming elections (Feb 6th).
(edit - so, if you will, Taba failed due to a change of administration)

For that matter I also thought that Taba happened primarily because Barak needed a positive result in order to win the coming election.
