I misread teevee, but not CB or Roll. If Chavez is so "repressive" and "Stalinist", how can the Venezuelan media make up stories about him (e.g. he is an Al Qaeda stooge)? Tom

so Fox had to fire him, of course, can't have a straight shooter running the diplomatic service, that would never do ... Naturally. Like SARS, straight-shooting is infectious. Some day it might infect the Mexican Supreme Court, Attorney General's office, local traffic cops, the military, Gobernacion, even Los Pinos. Imagine the desmadre. The whole applecart turned on its side. Something the US--for good solid national security reasons--cannot possibly countenance. What a brilliant Chinese finger trap.
