WHat you are seeing is the continued collapse of a false economy during the silicone /internet Clinton years. The 8 years that Bill was in office, this country saw Manufacturing dwindle to a low point. The economy had a false sense of achievement because the internet took flight. However the same democratic manufacturing base that helped elect Billy (BJ) Clinton to the biggest party economy we have seen since the 1920's, also started to fall into recession prior to his leaving office. The Low pay service sector of the economy created the most jobs for Mr. Clinton. But when there are no real jobs,that pay real wages, and no manufacturing base to sustain middle America. There is no Union , democratic party,and no re election of democrat's. The republicans did not destroy the Dem's or the economy. Billy did it!
