<<<Powell, who visited Damascus on Saturday, said he told President Bashar Assad that there will be
"consequences" if Syria does not cease support for Palestinian groups that the United States regards as
terrorist organizations, or if it attempts to harbor escapees from Iraq. "It's performance that we'll be looking
at in the days and weeks and months ahead," Powell said of Assad.>>>

A bit harder voice and a bigger stick behind his back than what he used at the UN on Iraq. A tighter schedule and more definitive actions called for. Consequences ? . Definitely .
Assad should consider that which Turkey lost, $25 bil, improvements to their military facilities, a voice in Iraq
reconstruction.
That which France lost- respect and trade values, American participation in the Airshow, participation in Iraq
reconstruction, and possibly their oil contracts with Iraq plus repayment of debts owed. (What a dumb show that was)
No Military action is contemplated, if ever deemed needed, IMO GWB will ask for the full support of Congress
Prediction: One of the Iraqi scientists will break after being promised immunity or verification of Saddams demise and discuss the WMD situation.
