The whole point is that you can retrofit whatever reason you want for "estate planning purposes" as the basis for a sale.

I think you're the one trying to shoehorn pessimism about Q's prospects into a rationale for Dr. J.'s sales. I only suggest that tax and estate planning is an incredibly complex subject, with different strategies depending on one's goals, and that you don't know the first thing about Dr. J.'s desires, needs or motives. This opens a hole in your argumentation that's bigger than Dallas.

Even Gates has diversified out of substantial chunks of Microsoft. Are you ready to call him a pessimist about MS's prospects?
