Damn, I hate agreeing with you. These guys are getting tech bubble compensation for smokestack industry performance. Living in the past, none of them noticed they are no longer doing anything significant. They are making incremental improvements in an existing product.

Either they figure a way to make Intel grow profits, I mean really grow profits, or they get paid like the rest of us mortals. And if they do figure a way to make profit skyrocket, make them filthy rich, I'm all for it.

As far as I can see, there are no superstars at Intel, but there sure are a lot of superstar comp programs. Earth to the BOD, pay these guys for their performance.
