Simba, You don't understand. This is Republican economic genius. We ran a huge trade deficit under Reagan and Japan prospered from our spending. Then we got religion under the George Bush who was elected President and Japan died. Now, China is a threat, so we are lulling them into the trap with our easy credit consumers. If we find another grownup to be President someday, we'll squash those guys, too. <g>

Many US investors will wake up to the massive damage being wrought by the trade deficit only after the depression hits.

Note that Boeing is exporting more than planes...also include part of the commercial plane production (jobs).
