In my defense, I can only say that happened in an open-air party in a park, at 4 AM or thereabouts, when I had somewhat less than full control of my mental facilities and too much energy for my own good -g-

You know the coyote in Roadrunner, the way he realizes he is off the cliff, tries to run back, and falls down screaming and trying to grope for a handhold in the air? That was me. No dignity whatsoever... :-)

Reminds me of those guys/gals who jump out of perfectly good airplanes with a bit of cloth and strings attached to their bodies

earlie, that reminds me of my first jump. we boarded a ricketly looking thing and I asked the jumpmaster about its airworthiness. he told me, "don't worry, we don't have to land in it" <g>
