In any case it's an obsolete point now. Or maybe that recent neo nazi attacks in germany Antisemitism is not on the rise in Germany. Nazis get less votes in elections here than in other European countries. The Jewish community in Germany has tripled in the past decade. One of my friends, university professor in US, once told me that he is truly ashamed to of his german heritage and that is how every german should feel It is out of question that the Hitler regime from 1933-1945 was a horrible and destructive period and that the killing of six million Jews and the waging of a war which resulted in 55 million casualties was a nightmare. But the country has learned its lessons, among them not to invade other countries and to always work in close cooperation and consent with the international community.
