<font color=blue> You wrote:"Now, as to Castro, ... Yes, he has accomplished some good things in Cuba but his bad deeds far outweigh his good. "<font color=black>

That is misleading, although true. You could say the same thing about Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Pol Pot, Saddam, OBL.

The only reason why Castro is not more active in international terrorism is because of the sad state of the Cuban economy. The small "good" that Castro has done, if you can call it that, is way outweighed by the misery he has forced on his own people, and the misery he has exported to other nations through his terrorist activities.

Actually, all the "good things" Castro has claimed to have "accomplished" in Cuba are nothing but communist lies.-the same kind perpetrated by the SOVIETS for decades, and swallowed whole by the left wing media in America, right up until the Soviet regime collapsed.

James Carville watched and learned from the Soviet propaganda machine, and very obviously studied Josif Goebbels as well...

Actually JD, Castro was a result of American exploitation. Go back to the Cuba of the mid-50s and see what was going on with the endorsement of our very own government. To chastise Castro we should also chastise ourselves for allowing the exploitation to occur.

Also, keep in mind that people don't rebel if they are "happy". Revolutions are the result of years of misery. Eventually, Cubans will forget the misery they lived through prior to Castro. When that time comes Cuba will turn towards democracy.

BTW, my personal profile is a comment on the nonsense that takes place here. The vulgarity of the picture is no where near the vulgarity expressed by many here towards those whose opinions differ.

Good deeds do indeed count, at least to me. But I will not turn the other cheek!
