I am still somewhat unclear as to whether there is any qualitative difference between this technolgy and the CMOS. I understand that it provides better cost/benefit ratios to the manufacturer, but aside from making the camera cheaper to the consumer, is there any other reasons why I should prefer a faveon based unit over another one?
