You haven't been watching the BBC lately, Bill, evidently. Last Sunday night's program was simply reporting this and that and the other. Just not cheerleading

Sometimes the BBC does report very well. But it's a rare program where the announcers don't make clear their own views on the subject matter, such as the quote I posted a few days ago where the announcer asked a British diplomat if he didn't expect a difficult reception considering all the British had been responsible for in Iraq.

The BBC to my ears is now presenting a weird mix of excellent reporting, highly slanted coverage when anybody they don't like - meaning anybody to the right - enters the story, and sometimes just off-the-wall programing.

For example, during the recent war the BBC aired a program talking about Bush's Christian faith which clearly, clearly insinuated that Bush is a Christian fanatic whose real motive for starting the Iraqi war was to bring on the wars of Gog and Magog and start the End Times rolling. Is this beserk or what?
