Hello Pezz, Interim Progress Report:

(a) YTD NAV gain at 4.9%, and thus approx. 8.7% on actively managed portion of gross assets. The momentum continues to be good, with currencies running right, gold stirring up, and non-US stocks edging forward;

The conditions in geopolitics, economics, and demographics continue to be supportive;

(b) I must make decision soon about whether to switch my JPY cash to USD or other currency;

Chugs, Jay

Hello Pezz, Today’s Report:
I sold my CK Life finance.yahoo.com position at HKD 1.70. It was bought for 1.38/shr at this time Message 18141229
(October 22nd, 2002), thus netting 23% over 7 months. Not fantastic, but will do in the mean time.

The company has no substance, by is controlled by the Li Kai-shen’s family, and as usual, his companies gets a price boost with regularity. They supposedly will be launching some potion that strengthens the immune system. Probably some vitamin C pills ;0)
