Things points to the worse in Argentina, Jay!

"...If Menem pulls out, center-left Patagonian leader Kirchner will win by default, according to electoral rules. But that would mean that Kirchner would assume the presidency on May 25 after winning just 22 percent of the vote in the first round on April 27. Argentina's presidential terms are four years long..

nytimes.com

Analysts warned winning by default would weaken Kirchner.

``Argentina was looking for two things that were extremely important -- legitimacy and governability,'' said Roberto Bacman, head of CEOP pollsters. ``We are facing another crisis of legitimacy.''

It is not looking good. It is not looking good. But again they like to shoot their won foot, don't they?

They've choosen to be poor, I can tell you!
